Kakobuy QC Check Guide

Learn how to read QC photos, spot quality issues, and make confident decisions before your package ships.

What is Kakobuy QC?

QC (Quality Check) is Kakobuy's inspection service. After your item arrives at the warehouse, staff photograph it from multiple angles for your review — a critical step before shipping to help you avoid receiving something that doesn't meet expectations.

01
Wait for Platform Notification

After ordering, Kakobuy's purchasing team buys the item from the Chinese platform. Once it arrives at the warehouse, QC photos are taken and you'll be notified — usually within 1–3 business days.

02
Login and View QC Photos

Once notified, log in to your Kakobuy account, go to "My Warehouse" or "Pending Confirmation," and click the order to view QC images.

03
Compare Against the Original Listing

Cross-reference the QC photos with the product listing you ordered from. Check color accuracy, fit, stitching quality, labels and accessories carefully.

04
Confirm or Dispute

If the QC photos look good, click "Confirm Shipment." If you spot issues — color variance, defects — you can request a refund or re-order.

7 Tips to Avoid QC Mistakes

1

Before ordering, read product reviews and community feedback to set realistic expectations

2

Check QC photos promptly after notification — platforms usually have a deadline (7–14 days)

3

Browse Reddit or Discord communities to compare QC photos of the same item from other buyers

4

If photos are blurry or angles are insufficient, request supplementary shots (free QC) or pay for more detailed ones

5

For minor issues like a small loose thread, weigh whether it's worth a refund vs. extra return shipping cost

6

QC photos don't reflect 100% of the final received condition — minor changes can occur in transit

7

Build your own QC judgment over time — experienced buyers can make decisions much faster

Pro Tip

Many experienced buyers post their QC photos to community forums like Reddit's FashionReps subreddit asking for opinions before accepting. This is a great method — especially for new buyers who haven't yet developed a reliable eye for quality.
